Features of Shear Ram

Ø In the normal condition, used as the full-enclosed ram; in the case of the

emergency, used as the shear ram.

Ø Times of shearing off the drilling pipe not to damage blade. The damaged blade

can be reused after repair. The blade and ram body are integral. The seal

surface between the front seal of the shear ram and the blade is relatively large

to effectively reduce the stress on the rubber seal and prolong its service life.
